Walter Thompson Contracts
Project: Dryburn Nursery Scheme. This Scheme was the second of at least 6no. units to be built across the North East of England and by using our service collectively with the Timber Frame Suppliers enabled the Structure of the building to be constructed within 2.5 weeks removing a large chunk of 8 weeks from the Walter Thompson Contract and allowing the handover to be carried out ahead of time to the Helen McArdle Trust. |

Clugston Construction
Project: The Bunny Hill Community Centre. This Scheme was CMS (Nw) Ltd's first scheme for Metek Building Systems and was a scheme programmed for a 12 week duration with site activities comprising of the erection of Metek's Light Steel Frames, and the installation of Kingspan Insulation & the Ancon brick tie system on the external facade of the hot rolled steel structure provided to us by Clugstons. The Scheme was complex and had a deep input from our team to ensure that programmes were met and the day to day logistics in a tight site environment were managed in a safe & professional manner. |

MMP Construction Group
Project: Broomland's Apartments. This Scheme had an overall Value of £6m. This scheme was split into 3no. Blocks of Flats, comprising, 62 in number. The Scheme was constructed in free standing cold rolled lightweight steel frames with lattice beams and a lattice roof construction. This schemes activities comprising of the erection of Metek's Light Steel Frames, and the installation of Kingspan Insulation & the Ancon brick tie system on the external facade. The scheme had a full-time presence from a CMS (Nw) Ltd, member of staff throughout its construction and we had 6no gangs constructing the frame over a 4 month period. The scheme was complex in nature and we provided an exception wealth of experience in free standing construction to the overall on site team. |

Mowlem/Carillion
Project: Redcar & Cleveland PFI Schools Project. This Scheme was 1 of 3 schemes that we were involved in with Metek Building Systems. All the schemes involved the construction of a light steel frame, stud & track and Cement Particle Board cladding the external envelope. All 3 Structures were complex and each posed their own logistical problems. We carried out a roving supervision on all 3no. schemes, ensuring that programmes, logistical requirements and all Health & Safety aspects were adhered too. The Schemes involved extensive man management, and required very detailed safety structuring and management. |
